Amateur HAM radio and Citizen Band radio specialized license plates
License Plates are printed with the applicant’s call letters as assigned by Federal Communication Commission (FCC). Applicants must provide proof of their license issued by the FCC in addition to completing an application for special plates. Plates may be issued to a passenger class or self-propelled recreational (RV) class vehicles, owned or jointly owned by a licensed operator. These plates are transferrable.

Applications mailed in take longer to process and will be returned if the fees are incorrect. When mailing, use the motor vehicle fees page to determine fees due or contact us.
